American Girl Restoration - Hair (Part III)

Remember where I left off with Samantha's hair journey?

I did not take pictures of this part, I totally did not want to burn myself! But I boiled some water in a medium sized pot. Once the water has boiled, I turned it off and waited 5 minutes for it to slightly cool.

Once the water has cooled, I dipped each of the curlers for a few seconds and once I have dipped all of the curlers - I dip her entire head of hair in ice cold water. This is to set the curls I made with the hot water.

After 24 hours, I took her hair from the curlers and voila!

Let's recap what I bought, used and did!

What I bought or used:
a. A Pot
b. Boiling Water
c. Ice Cold Water

What I did:
1. Boil a medium sized pot of water.
2. Once the water has come to a boil, cool it for 5 minutes.
3. Dip each hair in curlers in order to produce a semi-permanent curl.
4. Once all the curlers are dipped, dunk the entire head of hair in ice cold water.
5. Wait for 24 hours, make sure the hair is dry before taking curlers out.

If you are a young girl, make sure you get your parents to do this! I do not suggest doing this unless your parents are okay with it!
