Kit Misses Molly

Kit looks ahead and sees a figure in the distance. The sunlight blocks her vision as she squints to figure out the looming shadow coming forward. With no clue other than a shadow, Kit stands still to see who it is. The clicking heel on the wooden floors gets louder and louder while Kit squints her eyes thinner and thinner.

American Girl Restoration - Hair, The Aftermath

Looking at party girl Samantha, she doesn't look so party girl anymore.

Here she is posing in her Buster Brown Dress!

American Girl Restoration - Hair (Part III)

Remember where I left off with Samantha's hair journey?

American Girl Restoration - Hair (Part II)

I always seem to be dunking Sammy's hair in a bowl full of fluid.

After a month, I finally took her out of the closet after flying her from New York City. Samantha looked so sad in her play dress and pinafore. Her hair frizzy and dry even after a downy dunk. I knew I had to do something else to her hair.

American Girl Restoration - Hair (Part I)

Her hair (even with downy) looks like it needs more help!

I've always had a fascination with older dolls. Dolls that have been well-loved, well-played, well..everything. I have won a couple of dolls from eBay with terrible hair. Dolls that have been brush one too many and are needing a spa day to restore the shine and smoothness of new doll hair.
